Key ideas
-
Circular Economy
A circular economy is an economic system in which resource input and waste, emission, and energy leakages are minimised by cycling, extending, intensifying, and dematerialising material, water, and energy loops.
This can be achieved through digitalisation, servitisation, sharing solutions, long-lasting product design, maintenance, repair, reuse, remanufacturing, refurbishing, and recycling.
-
Nature Positive
Nature positive is the headline goal for nature, enhancing resilience of our planet to halt and reverse nature loss, from a 2020 baseline.
-
Net Zero
Net zero refers to the state where emissions of greenhouse gases due to human activities are balanced by the removal of these gases. It means humans are no longer adding to the total amount of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, and making climate change worse.
-
Sustainability/ Sustainable Development
